Trek into southern Indiana's diverse landscapes. Rob, John, and Madeleine are part of Sycamore Land Trust, which has protected over 10,000 acres of natural space in southern Indiana. Their properties are home to endangered species such as the Indiana bat and the Kirtland's snake. Sycamore connects thousands of people of all ages to nature through its free outdoor nature programming and public trails. The US lost 1.59 million hectares of natural forest in 2020 due to deforestation. Sycamore is doing its part to protect and maintain our forests and other ecosystems.
Sycamore Land Trust is a nonprofit conservation organization founded in 1990 to preserve the beauty, health, and diversity of southern Indiana's natural landscape through strategic land conservation, habitat restoration, and environmental education.
